very late, i know.

The morning started out cold and rainy.... but we were determined to have a successful and fun fundraiser...

This post is very late, I know.
I did post about this day right after it happened, but I have been asked to post a few more pictures. So, here you go. ;)

Of course it was a fundraiser for our mission to Africa this summer.

Dad went up to Portland at 5 in the morning to grab 50 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts!

We stood out in the FREEZING wind and rain (oh yes, there was a tiny bit of partial sunshine too), holding signs. You had to constantly move around because otherwise your feet would freeze and become numb! It worked out pretty good though, for the sign holders, since they had to be jumping around waving signs anyway. :)

Mr. Phillips said that the area where we set up our canopies, to sell the donuts, looked like a hobo camp.

It really did. ;) We had the van backed up to 3 canopies. It was alright at the beginning of the day, but at the end, everything (our signs, chairs etc.) were soaking wet, and dirty.

It makes me laugh when I look back at our "hobo camp" and how people actually bought donuts from us. We were selling them out of the back of our van for goodness sake! Next time I'm going to suggest that we look a little "less hobo-ish". ;)

Poor Bryanna. She was freezing the entire time. :(

Dawson and Micah are such good buddies. :)
They were amazing sign holders, and kept at it all morning! We wouldn't have been able to do it without them. :)

We started to get loopy at the end of the day. We were tired, cold and very hungry. All in all it was worth it though.

We ended up making over $300!

That's quite a bit, but tune in for a post about the fundraiser we had this weekend.

I'll leave you with this:

1. It was a competition.
2. It only lasted 4 hours.
3. We made more then 3 times the amount of money we made at the donut sale!

:)
